Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 35-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Ridge Academy upgrades its record to 2-12 on the season. The Royals host Wellington School (Columbus, OH) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Wellington School won 60-14 in their recent league bout against Miller (Corning, OH)

Next up, the play the Wright Christian Wildcats (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 107-368 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 40-33 league loss to Mingo Valley Christian (Tulsa, OK).
