The New Salem Holsteins tipped the host Mandaree Warriors basketball team by a final score of 52-46 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Holsteins face the Glen Ullin/Hebron Bearcats (Glen Ullin, ND) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 29. New Salem will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 3-11 record after their 49-45 league win over Beach (Beach, ND).

With the defeat, Mandaree moves to 6-10 on the year. The Warriors host Ray (Ray, ND) to face the Ray Jays in a non-league game on Saturday, January 27. The Ray Jays enter the game with a record of 6-10. Ray lost 51-45 in their recent league game against Tioga (Tioga, ND)
