Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Papillion-LaVista South Titans (Papillion, NE), 46-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Millard North upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Millard South (Omaha, NE) to play the Patriots in a A District TBD bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Millard South won 58-43 in their recent league bout against Gretna (Gretna, NE)

Next up, the Titans play the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Papillion-LaVista South will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 73-52 league win over Norfolk (Norfolk, NE).
