The Springfield Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Nicollet Raiders to 60 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minnesota Valley Lutheran for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Springfield will battle a Chargers team coming off a 71-25 non-league loss to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 3-14.
The Raiders (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record.
