The Onaway Cardinals basketball team scored 28 points and held the host Pickford Panthers to 24 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pellston for a Ski-Valley contest on Tuesday, January 30.
The Panthers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Engadine (Engadine, MI). The Eagles enter the Eastern Upper Peninsula contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Engadine was nudged by Brimley (Brimley, MI), 65-26, in a league contest.
