In Friday's non-league outing, the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA), by a margin of 50-27.
The Saints (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Collegiate was trounced by St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA), 38-27, in a league outing.
The Gryphons now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Fredericksburg Christian for a VISAA Division II outing on Tuesday, January 30. Trinity Christian will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 64-63 league loss to Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-8.
