The Varnum Whippets routed the host Strother Yellowjackets basketball squad by a margin of 57-23 in Friday's league test.
The Whippets (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Moss (Holdenville, OK). The Pirates go into the Little River test with a 17-3 record. In their last test, Moss walloped Kinta (Kinta, OK), 37-34, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Okarche for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Strother will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 34-21 non-league win over Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 13-7.
