In Friday's non-league outing, the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), by a margin of 54-25.

The Trojans (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 5-12 record. In their last outing, Caldwell County was trounced by Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY), 56-36, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Murray for a non-league outing on Monday, January 29. Trigg County will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 54-41 league win over Christian Fellowship (Benton, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-10.
