In Friday's league challenge, the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) ice hockey team nudged the host Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), by a margin of 3-2.

The Eagles now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prout for a State Championship Division challenge on Saturday, January 27. Barrington will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 17-1.

The Patriots (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Falmouth (Falmouth, MA). The Clippers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Falmouth was edged by Waltham (Waltham, MA), 6-2, in a league challenge.
