The Benicia Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Concord Bears to 23 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Patrick-St. Vincent for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Benicia will battle a Bruins team coming off a 55-52 league win over De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 5-6.
The Bears (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Hercules triumphed over Richmond (Richmond, CA), 43-30, in a league contest.
