Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS) and the visiting Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks (Mound City, KS), saw Southeast's basketball squad hold off Jayhawk Linn by a tally of 53-48.

With the victory, Southeast improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Galena (Galena, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Jayhawks play the Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Jayhawk Linn will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
