San Marin Mustangs (Novato, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Terra Linda Trojans (San Rafael, CA), 64-60 in a league bout.

With the win, San Marin upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Novato (Novato, CA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Novato lost 54-44 in their recent league bout against Redwood (Larkspur, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Branson Bulls (Ross, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Terra Linda will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Bulls go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 53-52 non-league win over St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA).
