The Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) basketball crushed the host Derry Trojans (Derry, PA), 74-51 in Sunday's non-league bout.
The Jayhawks now possess a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Frazier for a WPIAL 2A 1 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Jeannette will play a Commodores team coming off a 43-36 league loss to Clairton (Clairton, PA). The Commodores record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Derry falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA) to play the Titans in a WPIAL 4A 3 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 3-10.
