The Sanford Warriors basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic to 17 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Warriors now have a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tower Hill for a Independent Schools game on Tuesday, January 28. Sanford will confront a Hillers team coming off a 45-42 league loss to Tatnall (Wilmington, DE). The Hillers record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Mt. St. Joseph Academy falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Magic travel to Sacred Heart Academy (Bryn Mawr, PA) to confront the Lions in a Catholic Academies game on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions go into the game with a record of 10-3. Sacred Heart Academy won 55-29 in their recent non-league game against Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA)
