In Sunday's non-league test, the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH) ice hockey squad bounced the host Solon Comets (Solon, OH), by a tally of 10-3.

Next, the Rough Riders face the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs (Stow, OH) in a test, on Thursday, January 30. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 18-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 2-13 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH).

The Comets (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Wildcats come into the test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Mayfield nudged Aurora (Aurora, OH), 4-3, in a league test.
