The Oxford Pirates tipped the host Auburn Rockets basketball team by a final score of 49-43 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Bay Path RVT Minutemen (Charlton, MA) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 31. Oxford will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.

With the defeat, Auburn moves to 1-4 on the year.
