The Governor Livingston Highlanders routed the visiting Hillside Comets basketball team by a final score of 54-19 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Highlanders face the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 29. Governor Livingston will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 1-10 record after their 59-20 league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ).
With the defeat, Hillside moves to 2-4 on the year. The Comets travel to West Side (Newark, NJ) to face the Roughriders in a non-league game on Saturday, February 5. The Roughriders enter the game with a record of 3-3.
