Somerset Academy Panthers (Pembroke Pines, FL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes (Pompano Beach, FL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Somerset Academy will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Franklin Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL).

The Golden Tornadoes now have a 13-3 record.
