In Friday's league outing, the Unadilla Valley Storm (New Berlin, NY) basketball squad felled the host Afton Knights (Afton, NY), by a margin of 59-51.

The Storm (4-10) will now prepare for their outing against Deposit-Hancock (Deposit, NY). The go into the Section 4 Midstate outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Deposit-Hancock was beaten by Unatego (Otego, NY), 64-49, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Walton for a Section 4 Midstate outing on Monday, January 30. Afton will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 56-44 league loss to Unadilla Valley (New Berlin, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
