Kansas High School Basketball - Pleasanton overwhelms Altoona-Midway

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pleasanton Blu-Jays (Pleasanton, KS) and the visiting Altoona-Midway Jets (Buffalo, KS), saw Pleasanton's basketball squad wallop Altoona-Midway by a tally of 79-47.

With the victory, Pleasanton improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Blu-Jays travel to Crest (Colony, KS) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Crest won 63-27 in their recent league challenge against Oswego (Oswego, KS)

Next up, the Jets confront the St. Paul Indians (St. Paul, KS) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Altoona-Midway will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 61-29 non-league win over Yates Center (Yates Center, KS).
