Connecticut High School Basketball - Crosby thwarts Ansonia

The Crosby Bulldogs (Waterbury, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), 79-65 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Torrington (Torrington, CT). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Torrington notched a victory over Derby (Derby, CT), 87-46, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Oxford for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper test on Tuesday, January 31. Ansonia will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 58-48 non-league win over Watertown (Watertown, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-9.
