The Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA), 59-18 in Friday's league test.
The Hawks (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Walker (Walker, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Walker walloped St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA), 78-43, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Central Private for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Pearl River will encounter a Redhawks squad coming off a 66-53 non-league win over Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Redhawks record now stands at 12-3.
