Iowa High School Basketball - Martensdale-St. Mary's overwhelmed by Bedford

The Bedford Bulldogs basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils to 33 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest Valley for a Pride of Iowa contest on Tuesday, January 31. Bedford will battle a team coming off a 69-36 league loss to Central Decatur (Leon, IA). The record now stands at 4-10.
The Blue Devils (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks come into the Pride of Iowa contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Southeast Warren was routed by Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA), 89-61, in a league contest.
