The Benton Cardinals (St. Joseph, MO) basketball crushed the visiting Northeast Vikings (Kansas City, MO), 62-20 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Cameron (Cameron, MO). The Dragons go into the Midland Empire test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Cameron was trounced by Maryville (Maryville, MO), 71-41, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Central for a Interscholastic test on Tuesday, January 31. Northeast will encounter a Blue Eagles squad coming off a 73-44 non-league loss to Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
