In Friday's league outing, the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT), by a margin of 69-45.

The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave go into the Southwest outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, New Milford was trounced by Masuk (Monroe, CT), 51-45, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Joel Barlow for a Southwest outing on Monday, January 30. Bethel will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 65-39 league loss to Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 2-11.
