Michigan High School Basketball - Grant topped by Big Rapids

The Big Rapids Cardinals basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Grant Tigers to 58 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Springs for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Big Rapids will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 59-36 league loss to South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 2-8.
The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fremont (Fremont, MI). The Packers come into the Western Michigan Lakes - Lakes contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Fremont prevailed over Ravenna (Ravenna, MI), 69-42, in a non-league contest.
