Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI), 71-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Hendricken upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Norwich Free Academy won 58-56 in their recent league bout against Waterford (Waterford, CT)

Next up, the Skippers play the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a State Championship bout, on Tuesday, January 31. North Kingstown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 66-59 league win over Westerly (Westerly, RI).
