Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN), 68-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bloomfield upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host North Daviess (Elnora, IN) to play the Cougars in a Southwestern Indiana bout on Thursday, February 2. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 16-3. North Daviess won 51-40 in their recent non-league bout against Orleans (Orleans, IN)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Shakamak Lakers (Jasonville, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana bout, on Saturday, January 28. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Lakers come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 70-61 non-league win over South Vermillion (Clinton, IN).
