The Bridgewater/Emery Huskies basketball team (Emery, SD), was nudged 60-58 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD)

The Beavers now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canistota for a non-league battle on Monday, January 30. Hanson will confront a Hawks team coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Hawks record now stands at 6-5.

The Huskies (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Menno (Menno, SD). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record.
