Brooks Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL), 54-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brooks upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Eagles host Orr (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Orr won 53-44 in their recent league bout against Prosser (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Crane Medical Cougars (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Schurz will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 64-60 non-league win over Raby (Chicago, IL).
