Days Creek Wolves (Days Creek, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Camas Valley Hornets (Camas Valley, OR), 66-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Days Creek upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Wolves host Mohawk (Marcola, OR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Mohawk won 54-22 in their recent league bout against McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR)

Next up, the Hornets play the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) in a 1A Skyline bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Camas Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 67-30 league win over Riddle (Riddle, OR).
