In Friday's league outing, the Central Knights (Providence, RI) basketball squad felled the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), by a margin of 74-61.

The Knights (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies go into the State Championship outing with a 7-4 record.

The Mariners now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a State Championship outing on Tuesday, January 31.
