In Friday's non-league outing, the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) basketball squad beat the visiting Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), by a count of 65-46.
The Black Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD). The Cubs go into the A Region 5 outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Chamberlain was topped by Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD), 54-45, in a non-league outing.
The Cowboys now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Avon for a B Region 5 outing on Monday, January 30. Colome will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 38-37 non-league win over Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 2-10.
