Nampa Bulldogs (Nampa, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID), 61-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nampa upgrades its record to 4-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Boise (Boise, ID) to play the Brave in a 5A Southern Idaho bout on Saturday, January 28. The Brave go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Boise lost 58-50 in their recent non-league bout against Timberline (Boise, ID)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Vallivue Falcons (Caldwell, ID) in a 4A Southern Idaho bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 51-49 league loss to Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID).
