The Donovan Catholic Griffins basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Liberty Lions to 39 in the Griffins league triumph on Friday.

The Griffins now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester Township for a Shore B - South contest on Thursday, February 2.

The Lions (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Piners enter the Shore C - South contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Lakewood was defeated by Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 64-31, in a league contest.
