Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA), 68-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Walnut Grove upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Warriors host Madison County (Danielsville, GA) to clash with the Red Raiders in a AAAA Region 8B bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 20-2. Madison County won 63-57 in their recent league bout against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8A bout, on Tuesday, January 31. East Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-20 record after their 71-44 league loss to North Oconee (Bogart, GA).
