East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 60-45 in a league bout.

With the win, East Hampton upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Bellringers travel to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT) to play the Cougars in a Shoreline bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Haddam-Killingworth lost 79-41 in their recent league bout against Portland (Portland, CT)

Next up, the Knights play the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Westbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 74-43 league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT).
