In Friday's league outing, the Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), by a count of 79-42.
The Miners (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against North Knox (Bicknell, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, North Knox smashed Washington Catholic (Washington, IN), 78-31, in a league outing.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Cloverdale for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. Eastern Greene will clash with a Clovers squad coming off a 64-43 league loss to Northview (Brazil, IN). The Clovers record now stands at 1-15.
