Maryland High School Basketball - Poly knocked off by Edmondson-Westside

The Edmondson-Westside Red Storm basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Poly Engineers to 53 in the Red Storm league triumph on Friday.

The Red Storm now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mergenthaler Vo-Tech for a Baltimore City contest on Friday, February 3. Edmondson-Westside will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 57-27 league loss to Carver Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.

The Engineers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Park (Baltimore, MD). The Foresters enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Forest Park ran past Academy for College and Career Exploration (Baltimore, MD), 58-29, in a league contest.
