In Friday's non-league outing, the Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) basketball squad nipped the visiting Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME), by a margin of 86-82.

The Red Storm (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Spartans go into the AA South outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Sanford was tipped by Noble (Berwick, ME), 69-60, in a league outing.

The Red Eddies now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Portland for a AA North bout on Tuesday, January 31. Edward Little will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-31 league win over Bangor (Bangor, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
