The Floyd Central Highlanders basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Seymour Owls to 56 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Reitz for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Floyd Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 76-62 league win over Evansville Central (Evansville, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.

The Owls (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison, IN). The Cubs enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Madison was defeated by North Harrison (Ramsey, IN), 56-35, in a non-league contest.
