Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) and the host Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN), saw Southridge's basketball squad hold off Forest Park by a tally of 50-48.

With the victory, Southridge improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN) to confront the Titans in a Pocket challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Gibson Southern won 65-61 in their recent league challenge against Washington (Washington, IN)

Next up, the Rangers confront the Paoli Rams (Paoli, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Forest Park will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 68-44 non-league win over Corydon Central (Corydon, IN).
