Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers (Gardner, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Spring Hill Broncos (Spring Hill, KS), 50-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gardner-Edgerton upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS) to play the Lancers in a Sunflower bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Shawnee Mission East lost 45-38 in their recent non-league bout against Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Broncos play the Paola Panthers (Paola, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Spring Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 49-31 non-league loss to Chanute (Chanute, KS).
