South Dakota High School Basketball - Gregory overwhelms Jones County

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD) and the visiting Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD), saw Gregory's basketball squad wallop Jones County by a tally of 61-40.

With the victory, Gregory improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Gorillas host Winner (Winner, SD) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Winner won 66-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD)

Next up, the Coyotes confront the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Jones County will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 1-10 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Warner (Warner, SD).
