Holden Eagles (Holden, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lutheran Knights (Kansas City, MO), 85-70 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Holden upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Concordia (Concordia, MO) to play the Fighting Orioles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Fighting Orioles go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Concordia lost 76-30 in their recent non-league bout against Leeton (Leeton, MO)

Next up, the Knights play the Plattsburg Tigers (Plattsburg, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 20-0 record after their 50-41 non-league win over KIPP Legacy (Kansas City, MO).
