The Hoxie Indians (Hoxie, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Quinter Bulldogs (Quinter, KS), 57-54 in Friday's non-league test.

The Indians (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS). The Redmen go into the Mid-Continent test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Smith Center was tipped by Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS), 57-38, in a non-league test.
