The Winter Springs Bears basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Innovation Montessori Panthers to 10 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host East River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Winter Springs will battle a Falcons team coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to Timber Creek (Orlando, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 12-11.
The Panthers (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against DeLand (DeLand, FL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, DeLand triumphed over DME Academy Blue (Daytona Beach, FL), 41-40, in a non-league contest.
