The Johnson Knights basketball team (Gainesville, GA), was overwhelmed 71-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA)
The Titans now possess a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Shoals for a AAAA Region 8B battle on Tuesday, January 31. North Oconee will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 71-50 league loss to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-18.
The Knights (0-20) will now prepare for their battle against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Broncos come into the AAAA Region 8A battle with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, East Forsyth was overwhelmed by Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA), 68-42, in a league battle.
