Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) and the visiting Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA), witnessed Lenox's basketball squad crush Wayne by a margin of 85-40.

The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their test against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles go into the Pride of Iowa test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, East Union was trounced by Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA), 71-34, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Central Decatur for a Pride of Iowa test on Tuesday, January 31. Wayne will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 69-36 league win over Southwest Valley (Corning, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-3.
