The Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) basketball felled the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), 60-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Griffins (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 21-3 record. In their last test, Hinsdale Central thwarted York (Elmhurst, IL), 50-38, in a league test.
The Chargers now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Lincoln-Way West for a SouthWest Suburban - Red test on Tuesday, January 31. Stagg will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 54-48 non-league loss to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 10-14.
